Δυσάρεστη έκπληξη επεφύλασσαν ο πρίγκιπας Χάρι και η Μέγκαν Μαρκλ για τη βασιλική οικογένεια την παραμονή των 38ων γενεθλίων της Κέιτ Μίντλετον ανακοινώνοντας την παραίτησή τους από τα πριγκιπικά τους καθήκοντα.

Μάλιστα, το ζευγάρι φρόντισε να πικράνει ακόμη περισσότερο ιδίως τη Δούκισσα του Κέμπριτζ καθώς στην ανακοίνωσή τους αναφέρονται στα μέλη της βασιλικής οικογένειας με τα οποία θα συνεχίσουν να συνεργάζονται, αποκλείοντας από τη λίστα τη σύζυγο του πρίγκιπα Ουίλιαμ, και μέλλουσα βασίλισσα.

Συγκεκριμένα στην ανακοίνωσή τους σημειώνουν ότι θα συνεχίσουν να συνεργάζονται με “την Αυτής Εξοχότητα Βασίλισσα, τον Πρίγκιπα της Ουαλίας, τον Δούκα του Κέμπριτζ και όλα τα σχετιζόμενα μέρη”
