This square is located in Kypseli, one of the most densely populated neighborhoods, with many theaters in the surrounding streets and shops offering food, coffee, drinks, sweets, etc., often attracting numerous artists for a night out. It was named after the church of Saint George which is located next to the square.
This square particularly popular, since visitors may recognize it in many films that were filmed there. The center of the square also features an old brass creation that represents the young Cupids, three crowned cupids revolving around a metal pole and at the top there are four lamps. There are benches for the visitor to rest and escape from everyday life.
